WORK HISTORY
Pre 1985. Journalism, part-time employment in building and service industries, extensive travel around the world and teaching Art and English as a foreign language.
1985-2001. Director of the Akaroa Museum Banks Peninsula. A social history Museum where stories are told which reflect the whole sweep of New Zealand’s history.
2001. Elected to Local Government as a Councillor for Banks Peninsula District Council until abolition and amalgamation with Christchurch City Council in 2005. Subsequently a Community Board Member.
2016. Elected to the Canterbury Regional Council, known as ECAN.
